OKStormWatch provides weather monitoring and alerting services, primarily for Oklahoma locations, using data from NOAA/NWS and supplementary weather APIs. This is a personal project operated by an individual, not a commercial weather service.
Weather data is sourced from NOAA/NWS, Open-Meteo, and other third-party providers and is presented as a convenience. This tool does not issue official warnings and is not a substitute for official NWS alerts, local news, or your own situational awareness. Always monitor official sources and respond to official warnings.
OKStormWatch is under active, ongoing development; features, data, and behavior may change, break, or be temporarily unavailable without notice. Weather information may be inaccurate, incomplete, or delayed and should be treated as one input among many — never your sole source for a safety decision. This service runs on a dedicated server with no guaranteed uptime or SLA. During severe weather events, server load may increase. For life-safety decisions, always rely on official NWS alerts and local emergency management.
Accounts require admin approval. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose. Abuse, unauthorized access attempts, and misuse of the service will result in immediate account suspension without notice. The plain-English version of what's expected — including that accounts are revocable guest passes — lives in the House Rules, which form part of these terms.
