• Usage data: lightweight request counts for service monitoring (no behavioral tracking)

• We do not use analytics cookies or tracking pixels
• We do not track browsing behavior
• We do not sell, share, or provide your data to third parties
• We do not serve advertisements

3. How We Use Your Data

• To deliver weather alerts and briefings to your configured notification channels
• To display weather conditions for your saved locations
• To maintain and improve the service

4. Cookies

We use a single functional session cookie required for authentication. No analytics, advertising, or third-party cookies are used.

5. Data Storage

Your data is stored on a secured server with restricted access. Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text. All connections use TLS encryption (HTTPS).

6. Account Security

Abuse, unauthorized access attempts, scraping, and misuse of the service are not tolerated and will result in immediate account suspension. We may log IP addresses temporarily for security and abuse prevention purposes.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting CONTACT_EMAIL. Alert history is retained for service statistics but is not linked to individual users after account deletion.

8. Third-Party Services

Weather data is fetched from: NOAA/NWS, Open-Meteo, OpenWeatherMap, Pirate Weather, AirNow, and EPA. Your location coordinates are sent to these services to retrieve local weather data. These services have their own privacy policies.

Notification delivery uses: Pushover, Discord webhooks, Twilio (SMS), and Gmail SMTP (email) as configured by you.

9. Changes

We may update this policy at any time. Material changes will be noted on the website.
